Compassion In Action for cats in Upper Manhattan!
Up Manhattan Cat Rescue aims to reduce the homeless cat population through spay and neuter as well as finding homes for abandoned cats and kittens born to community cats in Washington Heights and Hudson Heights. There are no free or low cost spay/neuter services provided by the city. Up Manhattan Cat Rescue has partnered with veterinary clinics for low-cost spay/neuter and medical care. This is possible because of our 501c3 status. We rely 100% on generous donations to feed, shelter, spay/neuter and provide medical care for the cats we rescue and those we take care of that live amongst us behind apartment buildings and in city parks.
